Saturday was one of those "hit the ground running" days! I was literally busy from early in the morning until late night...but it was a great day.
The morning started with a "Laundry Date"... When Vern and I were dating we used to gather up our laundry and go down to Ocean Beach, an ecclectic little beach town here in San Diego, and do laundry together...every Saturday morning. We hadn't done it for a few years but we have been super busy and putting our chores off...and off...and off...So, we had a laundry date. We got up early in order to get there before the Saturday morning crowd. It was fun and we had all of our laundry done in a couple of hours. (I still haven't put it all away...lol)
After the laundry we came home and I had breakfast and showered and headed out for my "Knit Together" group. I get together with a group of ladies from my church, once a month, and we knit or crochet for charity.
After Knit together I went to my parents' house for a visit and to pick up my sister, Joyce, for a "Sister date Night." We went to dinner and then to the San Diego Symphony for the evening. The special guests were The Temptations and we had a ball!
I got home at around 11:00pm...whew! What a day!
So....here's my tracker entries for the day. I dipped deeply into my weekly points allowance. I'm still getting used to being in the blogger mindset again so I forgot to photograph my dinner. We went to the Sizzler and I had the Classic 6oz Steak, with a baked potato and the salad bar. Honestly, I thought the points totals were going to be much higher than they actually ended up being. I'm satisfied with my choices. The weekly points allowance is one of the things I love about Weight Watchers!
One more thing...I didn't have "lunch" yesterday. I had a huge bowl of oatmeal, yogurt and fruit mid-morning and then dinner with my sister. I had the fruit and peanut butter when I got home last night. The peanut butter is one of my guilty pleasures lately. I was tempted not to track it...that "cheat voice" in my head...but I tracked it anyway. The psychological advantage foor me of tracking it all is the realization that I'm still "on plan" ....that's what the weekly points are for. So Yay me!! Day 2 back on plan completed!
