Weighed in at my meeting. I lost 1.8 pounds this week for a total of 8.8 pounds so far.
Here's something I'm rather proud of. Earlier this week a customer walked in the door of my shop carrying these as an appreciation gift. I graciously thanked her...and when she left I told Vern to take what he wanted from the box and then I IMMEDIATELY took the rest and gave them to the neighbors. I cannot even tell you how absolutely empowered it made me feel to give the cupcakes away! My mouth was watering. I WANTED them...but I knew if I even tasted them it would be all over!
I won!!!
Trying to be better at journaling my menus...I always track because it's so easy to do with the WW App on my phone...but I have fallen behind on posting my menus here. So anyway...

I'm a little behind...
Yep, I've fallen a little behind in my posting. But I am eating on plan, trying to get my daily exercise in, and looking forward to my meeting tomorrow night. I'm hoping to have some time later to catch up a bit.

I had an omelet (egg substitute) with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and reduced fat cheese. This started out bigger but it looked so big that I ended up cutting it in half. 2.5 pts

Saturday April 24....
Saturday was my birthday. I had a fun day visiting family and "shopping" for the improvements we want to make to our condo. We didn't actually buy anything. We just shopped for the things we want to do and figured out how much $$$ it's going to take. I was happily surprised to find out that I really have almost enough to do the flooring! So the plan is to start with a fresh coat of paint next weekend and go from there. I am excited!

I made this yummy Turkey Pot Pie!

Here's How I made it...
20 oz extra lean ground turkey
1/2 cup diced onion
1 tsp diced garlic (I use the stuff in the jar)
1 16 oz bag frozen mixed Vegetables
2 packets store brand turkey gravy mix
1 can store brand biscuits (I chose a can that had 50 calories per biscuit)
Saute onion and garlic in a skillet sprayed with no stick cooking spray until a little bit carmelized.
Add ground turkey. Then add salt, pepper, cumin, and parsley flakes to taste.
Meanwhile cook vegetables in the microwave until tender.
Make gravy according to package directions.
Spray a 9x13 pan with no stick spray and add the turkey and vegetables. Mix it all together until it's evenly mixed and then pour the gravy over it.
Roll the biscuits, one at a time, between plastic wrap until quite thin and place them on top of the turkey/vegetable mixture. I used 9 biscuits because that's what fit well in the pan.
Bake it in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes or so until the biscuits are golden brown.
I had two servings like the one pictured here for 9.5 points.
After Dinner Snack:
2 Mandarin oranges 1 pt
1/2 cup Fage Total 0 Yogurt 1 pt

Thursday April 22...
I can't believe it's taken me until 3pm on Friday to do my Thursday post!
So anyway..
Last night was my weigh in. I lost .6 of a pound. I was tempted to be disappointed but then I really thought about it. I had lunch at a cheap Mexican place on Saturday and I spent Sunday and Monday at Disneyland....and I LOST WEIGHT! So what if it's only a fraction of a pound...I LOST WEIGHT! Spending two days at Disneyland did not become an all out food fest. I didn't come home 3-5 pounds heavier. I came home .6 of a pound lighter. I am choosing to call that a huge victory.
So Here's my menu for Thursday April 22..
Once again, I let the morning get away from me and I missed breakfast. I have a plan in place to improve on this. I will be walking to work. I walked this morning as it's finally not raining here. (I know it never rains in Southern California...but it did.) So anyway, I'll be walking and the plan is to get here early enough to eat breakfast before we open and the customers start coming in.

Boca burger on a Bagel Thin witha slice of reduced fat swiss cheese 3 pt

Whew! What A Weekend!...
We had a whirlwind weekend! I don't have time to type out all the details because it's back to work this morning. So, I'll just say I met some old friends for lunch on Saturday and then on Sunday, after church, Vern and I drove up to Disneyland/California Adventure and spent Sunday Afternoon and all day Monday.
I am pretty pleased with myself that I did two days at theme parks and stayed totally on plan! Of course it helped that I earned a bazillion activity points with all the walking we did!
One more thing...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Weight Watchers Pedometer!!!
